Kristen Vieldhouse

Founder & Executive Director

Growing up in a home where hospitality, welcome, and generosity were the expected norm, Kristen saw early on the transformative power of these practices in the lives of neighbors and communities.

After studying Bible & Theology at Cairn University and living abroad in South Korea, she became a somewhat reluctant Lancaster transplant in 2009. Kristen worked in Higher Education leadership and character development, community engagement, service learning, and mentoring for over thirteen years. She also spent time working at The Factory Ministries, where she provided case management to unhoused individuals and oversaw the opening of multiple crisis housing units.

Kristen earned a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration in 2015 from Geneva College. She is an active member of Wheatland Presbyterian Church and lives on the East End of Lancaster City where you can often find her walking her dog, Louie, listening to socio-political and theology podcasts, cooking, and gardening.

  • Tom Becker

    Tom and his wife, Rebecca, share five grown children and live in the city of Lancaster, PA. They are active members of Wheatland Presbyterian Church.

    Tom earned his BA in Speech at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and his Master of Divinity at Covenant Theology Seminary, focusing on Christianity and contemporary culture through the Francis A. Scheaffer Institute. From 1985-2005, he served as a campus minister at Bloomsburg, Bucknell, Susquehanna, and Millersville Universities. Tom founded The Row House, Inc. in 2010. His passion is to add to the common good of his city through The Row House’s decidedly public events.

    His other activities include renovating his old row house, bicycling, pizza making, dog therapy, and traveling with Becky. He’s a self-described town character and grew up in Watsontown, PA.

  • Jordan Birch

    Jordan graduated from Grove City College and earned a MA in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Jordan has worked as a classroom teacher, a school counselor, and in residence life. She is passionate about coming alongside young adults in the messiness of real life and pointing them towards Christ. Jordan and her husband, David, are members at Wheatland Presbyterian Church and love calling Lancaster home.

  • Dominick DiLoreto

    Dominick has spent his professional career helping people love where they live. Dominick spent 7 years working in higher education managing residence halls, building community, assessing for learning and sense of belonging, and engaging in campus crisis response. He started working in property management and property maintenance in 2020, where he has grown his knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve residents.

    Dominick is also the owner of DiLoreto Home Improvements, LLC and is a licensed real estate agent in PA. With Jesus as the leading example, Dominick aims to serve others in everything he does. Specifically, Dominick has passion for engaging in meaningful relationships, inspiring life-changing learning, and repairing and improving homes for people. Dominick volunteers with Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity on the construction crew and family services committee. Dominick and his wife, Allie, live in Elizabethtown and attend LCBC Church in Manheim.

  • Ellie Hoover

    Ariella Hoover hails from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She earned a BMus in Vocal Performance, and a BS in Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College. After graduation she decided to focus on other passions, including living and working in Italy, working in administration for an online private classical Christian school, serving as a barista at an award-winning French bakery, and as a Christian Radio DJ. The last 5+ years of her professional career were spent in a variety of Arts & Culture related roles, most recently as the Interim Director of a renovated beaux-arts historic bank turned performing arts center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Currently, Ariella serves as the Director of Operations for a faith-based global economic forum. Ariella is thrilled to sit on the board of the Good Neighbor Project. She also serves on the boards of the Lancaster Art Song Society, and Barnyard Parables, Inc., In her downtime, Ariella enjoys sports, singing, traveling, good food with friends, and spending time with her large family and many nieces and nephews.

  • Andrew Keenan

    Andrew is married to Caitlin and has two wonderful daughters, Magnolia and Charlotte. Andrew and his family have lived in Lancaster intermittently since 2010. They are members of Wheatland Presbyterian Church.

    Andrew earned his BA in Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College and his MA in Old Testament and Biblical Languages from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Currently he is pursuing his PhD in Hebrew Bible from Cambridge University. His research focuses on the language and development of the Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible, commonly referred to as the Septuagint. Andrew is also an adjunct professor at Lancaster Bible college, having taught courses on Old & New Testament as well as Greek at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
